Changed states and old state ID has expired, how can I renew for PUA now?

I worked in California for years, and I have had California EDD since the start of the pandemic. Now it is time to renew for PUA. But I have since moved to Michigan and my California driver's license has expired. Based on my research on the internet and with Michican, I should still be going to California EDD because that is where I was working. But, one of the things California EDD requires according to their website is a California ID/license. So, what should I do? Will California EDD accept a Michigan ID in this case even though their site does not say that? (I cannot ask California EDD because they don't answer the phone anymore, as far as I can tell.)
