Hi, I'm on PUA, had a balance prior to 12/27/20, my acct reads "disqualified" thruout all paid weeks! I submitted a contact note last week & EDD responded w/ "a Notice of Determination was mailed". : (
I did move out of CA last summer and my only income is as an independent contracter in CA prior to the pandemic.
I'm in the same boat. Independent contract collecting PUA, moved to AZ. All past PUA payments have been disqualified, no benefits since Dec2020. After dozens of calls to EDD and a determination letter of disqualified, they finally informed me that I had no footprint in California, I had to appeal, with evidence show I worked/lived there, e.i., CADL, 1099's and 1040's for the last 6 years. Still waiting for the appeal. I also was proactive with ID.me, established an account Jan 4, verified, in good standing. Now, when I log on it say suspended so, it's worthless, Id.me has absolutely no customer service to resolve the issue.
ID.me suspends account for no reason. Unable to contact them to resolve issue, no support, no customer service. Now, what to do? Thanks
Some people who have ID verification have it suddenly change from older already paid weeks to disqualified -- so that's a possibility. You might have to call and find out why you're disqualified, but also when you do reach someone you can try to get them to lift the disqualification. If it is ID verification, you could verify through ID.me. Worst case scenario, you can appeal the decision when they mail you that notice of determination.
