I am really hoping someone can help me. I got laid off in march due to COVID-19. In August I accepted a very part time position. In November I got laid off again. Did I need to update EDD/File a new claim? Will I owe overpayments? I can't seem to find any information and I haven't been able to get through. Any help is super appreciated

And as long as you reported the part time earnings when you certify for benefits, when you had that part time job (I'm assuming you continued receiving benefits from August - November) you shouldn't get any overpayments. If you didn't report on the certification then you might get an overpayment notice but I don't know for sure because some people have part time jobs and collect UI but I think it's less than if they weren't working at all.. Also, if the part time job was paid under the table then you have no worries.
If you got laid off in March 2020, your claim does not expire until March 2021. So in November, you should not have had to had filed a new claim since you already had one that was just waiting for you to reopen.
BUT... If you are talking about RIGHT NOW -- since it's past March 2021 -- Yes, you need to re-file a new claim based on the verbiage and guidance on the EDD website.
