So I've been receiving benefits since July 2020. Have had no issues until December 26th when the CARES Act expired. Im still able to certify my weeks and have 9 current payments pending. I never recieved a link in my EDD account inbox. I had to reach out to EDD myself and the representative emailed me a link but to my actual email address. I successfully verified my identification through ID.me but now when I continue to call EDD to figure out what's going on, they never specifically tell me what the issue is but say that it has nothing to do with my identity. Says my claim is still under review cause of suspected fraud.. I've literally have checked all my certificates thinking maybe I had answered a question wrong but that wasn't the issue either. I havent received anything in the mail, no response to my emails. I'm literally lost as to what it could be.. anybody else dealing with this issue?

Have you gotten a resolution yet?? I'm in the same boat- "potential fraud investigation". I've been pending for 23 weeks and I've been trying to get a resolution from EDD for 3 months now (out of the 5+ this has been happening). They keep telling me they can't help me because its a different department and to "be patient".... my patience is GONE.
I'm really hoping to hear something positive for you guys!
same thing here. i haven't been able to speak to anyone and no response to emails. approved extension on my claim thru march. certified every week this year. pending since 12.27. all had been fine in 2020. no one has contacted me about any possible fraud. there is nothing fraudulent about my claim. have been very frustrated but now feeling like should just give up and look for help elsewhere. cant wait for my bank account to become overdrawn again.
