My 10 day window of verifying identity is almost up! Am I going to lose my benefits?

When will I get my 1099G tax form?

They are beginning to send this form out to any claimants who received benefits that were taxable during 2020. If you need additional guidance in regards to the 1099G form here are some resources:

I received this Form 1099G but I never filed a claim for benefits, what should I do?

• Here is where you can report fraud and find additional information to help protect yourself

• If you believe you received forms that do not belong to you, mark it "Return to Sender" and send it back to EDD

Was the $600 from the CARES Act and LWA $300 taxable?

• Yes

I don't agree with what I received on my Form 1099G. What do I do?

• You can call 1-866-401-2849 if you don't agree with it or if you believe you are a victim of fraud. They are open 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday through Friday.

Fraud Alert

• EDD does not send representatives to homes

• EDD nor ID.me do not contact individuals through social media or other websites

• Caller ID may show "St of CAEDD" or the UI Customer Service Number 1-800-300-5616 from 8:00am - 8:00pm

• If you opted in for SMS text, messages are sent from 510-74 or 918-06
